I got into speciality coffee back in 2015, I was working in Artigiano where i met Angelo (@angeloscoffeelife )Rob (@roberttalbotcoffee )and Joe (@coffee_by_joe ), can say these three guys really got me into speciality coffee and got me where I am today.

Being a barista doesn't just mean making coffee, its the interacting with customers and making their day that bit better by putting a smile on their face and giving them their coffee fix of course.

Whilst making the coffee I always try and ask the customers if they brew coffee at home, even if its just with an Aeropress or a simple French press then I'll try and give them a few tips to help them get the best results from being a home brewer.

I love the communication you have with people being a barista. You'll constantly be talking to someone throughout the day even if it's the locals who come down or people who have just discovered you.

The barista community in South Wales or even the UK is massive as well! You'll get to meet so many people who have the same passion as you by going to Latte art competitions, cuppings or Coffee events/festivals.
